Frequently Asked Questions

How long do custom projects take to complete?

On average, we ask for 2-3 months for custom projects. It can take longer for complex projects or unique material sourcing.

Can I stop by without an appointment?

We will accommodate walk-ins when we can, but we can’t promise we will be available! We are a small team and want to ensure that each client gets the same full attention. Please make an appointment using this link.

I have a custom consultation scheduled and need to reschedule. Do I have to wait another month?

No, we can fit you in sooner if you are rescheduling. Please contact us directly to reschedule.

Can I have a custom project expedited?

Sometimes, we can complete custom projects faster than our typical 2-3 months. We may ask for an expedited fee depending on the project and timeframe. Please contact us for details.

Can you reuse my gold and stones to make a new piece?

Yes! We can redesign a piece using your gold and/or stones. We will need to see your pieces to be sure we can reuse them. It is a great way to upcycle your unworn pieces!

Can you reuse my platinum to make a new piece?

Unfortunately, no. Platinum contaminates easily, making the finished piece brittle. However, we can work with the platinum you have in other creative ways, such as reusing the shank of a ring and adding a new head. Contact us if you’d like to explore options!

What metals do you work with?

We repair and create pieces in gold and platinum. We are currently not making silver pieces, but we can often repair or alter (such as sizing) your silver pieces.

What stones do you work with?

We are very flexible when it comes to stones! We can source them or work with your stones.

Do you work with lab-grown diamonds or sapphires?

We do! We can use and source lab-grown stones in custom projects. Let us know what you have in mind!

A note about our availability

We limit the weekly custom and repair appointments to dedicate enough time and resources to each piece we start. This means that sometimes, there is an extended period before we can meet about starting a custom project. We also limit the number of consultations so we can continue to focus on our ongoing projects. We will be available for follow-ups once you start a project with us.
